Minds that matter: understanding mental health in later life

In February, Independent Age launched a survey to find out about people’s views and experiences of mental health in later life. They were overwhelmed by the number of responses, with nearly 3,000 people sharing their stories. The voices and experiences of older people are central to Independent Age’s campaigning and the results of their survey are invaluable to them.

Several of their campaigners also shared their stories and thoughts on the need to improve mental health in later life in a short film.
