We have reached week three of our Aviva Community Fund Project. Thank you so much to everyone that has already pledged their support to our bid. We are so very grateful and your support means alot to all at OCAY.

We have reached 50% of our target and would love to get to 100%. You can help us to do this by sharing our link at the top of this page to raise awareness about our project and pledging your support by making a donation.

Our project is called Financial Inclusion of Older People. We want to ensure that older people are financially included in their communities by providing the support needed to apply for benefits. We want to continue to expand our work to support more people over the age of 50 who are financially excluded because they are not able to access the benefits system. Expanding our benefits advocacy project will help more people to access advice, receive support with making applications and attend benefits assessments, appeals and tribunals. As a service, we have seen a significant growth in the number of clients who need support with accessing the benefits system to maximise their income.

The funds raised really will help us to support more older people to secure the income needed to keep them out of poverty.

Our project will run until Monday 14th December.
