Fiona’s role is to lead the work of the charity and community outreach, working with volunteers, Trustees and other staff to implement OCAY’s strategic plan.
She also works to contact potential clients and ensure that organisations which have contact with older people, know about the work of OCAY.
Fiona is experienced in working with older people. Having managed services and projects in the past. Fiona is looking forward to working with everyone connected to OCAY and within the community to support older people.
Dan BrittanLead Advocate
Dan’s role is to undertake both general and specialised advocacy with clients, including many of the initial contact meetings. Dan also supports volunteers by providing professional supervision and facilitating a peer support network.
Dan joined OCAY in 2016. His background is in Mental Health and General Advocacy and he has worked for York Mind.
Dan is a keen runner and recently completed the Run for All 10k on behalf of OCAY.
Abi WillisCharity Support Assistant
Abi’s role is to be the first line of contact for OCAY. She provides the day to day administrative, financial and business support for OCAY.
Abi has previously worked as an insurance underwriter and also on the first contact team at the charity The Family Fund helping disabled children. She feels it is important to make a difference in peoples lives no matter who or how old they are.
