We have just completed our report for our 2020-2021 end of year stats.
In 2020-2021 OCAY volunteers and staff supported 290 older people. 60% of our clients were women and 40% were male.

Thank you to all our volunteers and staff who have continued to support OCAY and our clients during this last year, all whilst working from home, during the coronavirus pandemic. Your hard work and commitment is really appreciated.
We’re proud to have been able to carry on supporting older people during these difficult times.

We helped many people with benefits: 26% of our cases related to this area of work. The types of benefits we helped with are outlined in the following graph, the most common ones are Personal Independence Payment, Universal Credit, Attendance Allowance Allowance and Benefits checks:

We would also like to say a big “Thank you” to everyone who has signposted older people to OCAY, you have really helped us to keep in touch with older people:
